Domenico Di Carlo believes that Livorno can stay in Serie A, but only if his team ‘play as they know how’.

The Amaranto travel to San Siro on Saturday afternoon, hoping to claim a win over Milan that could see them move level on points with Bologna in 17th.

And the Coach is confident that they will ‘have their say’ in the fight for salvation.

“Our hopes of staying up are still there,” he told a Press conference. “But only if we play as we know how.

“We have to be humble and play with compactness at the back. But if we do that, we’ll have our say.

“Milan? I haven’t been concentrating on what they’ve been doing recently – I have enough on my plate with my own team.

“But as far as tomorrow’s match is concerned, I think the game is easy to read – they have to win the match.

“We need to remain focused, put our heart and heads together and try to take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way.

“I still believe that we can stay up.”
