“I want to see a Hellas side capable of creating far more scoring opportunities than we’ve managed over the last two games,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“Unfortunately we tend to rely too much on the mistakes of others, so I want us to show more initiative.

“Fiorentina have a lot of quality and are a very technical side, so we need to harass them into losing possession.”

There are several former Fiorentina players in the Verona squad, including Luca Toni, Giampaolo Pazzini, Ante Rebic and Gilberto.

Romulo is also an ex-Viola man, but he has not made the trip after sustaining an injury in the final training session.

“The fact they are former Fiorentina players doesn’t mean I’ll have to start them. I have many players to take into consideration.”

Also absent are Federico Viviani, Samuel Souprayen, Vangelis Moras and Juanito Gomez Taleb.

Hellas won this fixture 1-0 last season, but that remains the only victory in their last nine competitive meetings with Fiorentina.
