“We have to take the blame, as we didn’t create enough. It could’ve ended 0-0, but Empoli deserved the result because they showed more grit and hunger.
“It’s the first time since I’ve been here that we just got the approach completely wrong. Unfortunately there are players who aren’t in their best shape, like Cyril Thereau, and we’re struggling to produce the way we did a few weeks ago.”
