Italy CT Roberto Mancini must register the 26 players eligible for Euro 2020 by midnight, who should he bring to the European Championship?

The Azzurri have returned to Florence and will continue their preparations for Mancini’s first championship at Coverciano.

By midnight tonight, the coach will formalise the list of 26 players called up for the Finals, where Italy are drawn Turkey, Switzerland and Wales in Group A.

Mancini’s men start the competition at the Olimpico on June 11 against Turkey at 20.00 UK time, before facing Switzerland on June 16 and Wales on June 20 at the same venue.

But the list of players has not been confirmed just yet and Champions League winners Emerson Palmieri and Jorginho are the last to arrive after Chelsea’s long season, joining the squad in Florence today.

Sky Sport Italia reports Rafael Toloi and Gianluca Mancini are fighting for a place in the defensive department, while Stefano Sensi or Bryan Cristante could be cut from the squad too.

Italy face Czech Republic at the Renato Dall’Ara in Bologna on Friday, June 4. It will be the last match for Mancini’s men ahead of the opener.

Who do you think Mancini should bring, discuss on the Liveblog below.
