Milan handed debuts to three of their new summer signings during a 7-0 win in a 60-minute pre-season friendly against Lumezzane at the club’s training centre on Thursday afternoon.

Marco Sportiello started in goal for the Rossoneri, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic, who have both arrived from permanent deals from Chelsea, lined up in midfield and on the wing respectively.

Pulisic registered his first goal involvement for Milan just five minutes after kick-off at Milanello, cutting back for Tommaso Pobega to tuck home inside the area. The two combined again just 12 minutes later to add a second on 17 minutes.

Junior Messias made it 3-0 within a minute of Pobega’s second, before 21-year-old Lorenzo Colombo added a fourth on the 20-minute mark.

Colombo also got himself a brace 12 minutes after the re-start, shortly before Stefano Pioli called for 10 substitutions, leaving just Luka Romero on, who had been brought on for Junior Messias at half-time.

Romero got himself on the scoresheet from the penalty spot to add Milan’s sixth of the afternoon, before teenage midfielder Kevin Zeroli made it 7-0 after 67 minutes.

Milan will now set off for their pre-season tour of the United States, where they will take part in friendlies against Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona.
