“Our team has to focus on playing both with and without the ball. The players must start to ask more of themselves, because they have not yet reached their maximum potential,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“We also need to modify our attitude on the pitch, because there are matches that require a different level of concentration. For example, Frosinone are well-organised with strong players who try to play the ball.

“It might seem on paper to be simple, but in reality it is an even more dangerous game than against Fiorentina. When we were 2-1 up, we stopped playing our football, started hitting it long and that is not our approach. We lost control of the match.

“That draw with the Viola must serve as a lesson for where we went wrong and mustn’t make the same mistakes again.”

Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jeremie Boga and Claud Adjapong are still on the treatment table with Filip Djuricic starting his two-match ban.

Sassuolo squad for Frosinone: Satalino, Consigli, Pegolo; Marlon, Lemos, Rogerio, Peluso, Lirola, Magnani, Ferrari, Dell'Orco; Magnanelli, Sensi, Duncan, Bourabia, Locatelli; Matri, Berardi, Trotta, Babacar, Di Francesco, Brignola
