Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi receives praise from Tuttosport newspaper highlighting his ‘double’ achievement in a 3-0 win away at Arsenal.

De Zerbi’s Brighton likely ended the Gunners’ title hopes with a 3-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The printed edition of Tuesday’s Tuttosport newspaper (page 22) highlights that the victory in London has a double meaning for the Seagulls.

First, the three points earned at the Emirates Stadium have allowed De Zerbi’s men to climb to a Europa League placement, one point above Tottenham Hotspur and with two games in hand.

Second, their latest victory probably means Arsenal’s title hopes are over as the Gunners are now four points below leaders Manchester City who also have a game in hand.

Tuttosport highlights how Brighton are constantly improving under the former Sassuolo tactician, who is developing players who had previously struggled with playing time, such as Julio Enciso and Deniz Undav.

De Zerbi signed a four-year deal with Brighton in September and has won 18 of his 35 games in charge this season, so the 43-year-old has ‘conquered England,’ claims the Turin-based paper.
