New Palermo Coach Roberto De Zerbi will be suspended for this week’s Serie A game against Napoli.
Davide Ballardini resigned last week in protest at the lack of transfer activity, specifically when it came to getting a goalkeeper and striker.
De Zerbi is widely expected to take over and could well be announced this evening.
However, it emerged the former Foggia tactician will not be able to sit on the bench for this Saturday’s Serie A clash with Napoli.

That’s because he is suspended following the chaotic scenes in the Lega Pro play-off Final between Foggia and Pisa.
Today the Appeals Court reduced his ban from two games to one, but it still means he’s out for this weekend.
