Inter defender Stefan De Vrij has accused player agency Sports Entertainment Group of unlawful enrichment.

The 29-year-old Dutchman seems destined to leave the Nerazzurri in the upcoming summer transfer window. His contract expires with the club in 2023 but a renewal isn’t looking to close, with the player wanting higher wages.

As reported by Ad.nl, De Vrij has accused his former agency SEG of unlawfully enriching themselves, and so the two parties will attend a hearing in Amsterdam in February.

SEG reportedly took home €7.5m last year alone from the transfer of their former client to Inter. For every half-season in Milan, the agency have taken home €200,000, and considering that they negotiated a 7.5% share of his future resale, their total revenue from the situation could rise to €15m.

De Vrij broke his ties with SEG as soon as he learned of these alleged irregularities and now he’s looking to combat them in court.
