Milan defender Mattia De Sciglio has conceded that his men are ‘focused’ on making the Last 16 of the Champions League.

The Rossoneri play Ajax tomorrow knowing that a draw will be enough to see them finish second in Group H and make the knockout stages.

“Games that can get you through to the final 16 in the Champions League are always important,” he told a Press conference.

“We’re focused and we want to get through to the next round. We definitely can’t take to the pitch looking for a draw as that would put qualification at risk.

“They’re a good team and they play good football. We’ll have to be very attentive.

I’ll do what I can to repeat the performance against PSV tomorrow as they’re similar matches.

“I’ll give my all. Playing on the right or the left won’t make any difference. I’ll just be focused on what will be a tough match. We have to get a result.”

The youngster then commented on his recovery from a knee injury.

“I’m happy with how the knee has reacted even if it’s not yet completely balanced. I’m working to get it back perfect and the minutes on the pitch against Livorno were important for me.”
