The Brazilian netted in the 1-1 draw against Malaga on Tuesday which kept his side in the Champions League.

“We’re happy for Pato who has gone through some tough times,” the young defender noted. “We know he’s back and that we can count on him.”

The Rossoneri fell behind at the Meazza on Tuesday, but the South American responded to get his side a point.

“We’re aware that we played a good game against a strong team that caused us problems in the first leg too,” De Sciglio continued.

“We know that to get through the group stages we’ll have to battle in Belgium now against Anderlecht.

“We created a lot in the first half hour and we’re getting better in front of goal too. We’re growing from a gameplay point of view.”

Milan are next in action in Serie A against Fiorentina this weekend.
