“Balotelli could be decisive and his words impressed me,” the custodian, who will meet up with the rest of the 32-man squad tomorrow, told Radio Marte.

“I can see that he has a great desire to be a protagonist, to prove to people what he can do in the Azzurri shirt.”

Italy won’t start the tournament as favourites, but Gigi Buffon’s reserve is optimistic ahead of the Poland and Ukraine trip.
