Roma director Walter Sabatini insists “Daniele De Rossi and Marco Borriello are not on the market,” while Mirko Vucinic talks to Tottenham.

The Giallorossi have several players whose future is up in the air after the arrival of new Coach Luis Enrique.

“I will not weaken the squad by selling De Rossi,” director of sport Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.

“He said many times that he wants to stay and so we will certainly reach an agreement.”

De Rossi's contract expires next summer and it was reported he would be sold, perhaps to Chelsea or Inter, to raise funds for €50m-rated Javier Pastore.

“Borriello is not on the market. As for Jeremy Menez, it depends on his state of mind, whether he wants to remain or not.

“Vucinic requested a transfer, but the club's intentions were to keep hold of him.”

It is reported that Vucinic's agent is currently in London for negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Montenegrin had already been linked with Spurs last season and they are ready to offer €15m, although this is under the Roma asking price of €20m.

Sabatini also gave an update on other Giallorossi irons in the fire.

“We will conclude the deal for Jose Angel on Monday,” he said of the Sporting Gijon defender.

“Next week we'll also have an update on Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.”

One move has been completed, as Crotone have signed 19-year-old creative midfielder Stefano Pettinari on loan.

The Under-19 international was at Siena last season, but never made it on to the pitch.
