There is another issue for Garcia to consider, as Radja Nainggolan is one booking away from suspension and might want to be preserved for the more ‘winnable’ encounter with BATE Borisov.

Juan Manuel Iturbe is expected to start despite a slight back issue, as Mohamed Salah, Gervinho and Francesco Totti are sidelined.

There’s also a decision to be made between Vasilis Torosidis and Douglas Maicon at right-back, as Alessandro Florenzi should be used in a more advanced position.

Roma (probable): Szczesny; Maicon, Manolas, Rudiger, Digne; Keita; Florenzi, Pjanic, Nainggolan, Iago Falque; Dzeko
