Italy midfielder Daniele De Rossi claims “cold blood will be needed” against Sweden in the World Cup playoffs.
Italy kick off their two-legged tie with Sweden on Friday, and De Rossi made it clear the Azzurri could not afford to let the occasion get to their heads.
“Against Sweden, cold blood will be needed, but we also need to play with sweat and sacrifice,” the Roma veteran began at a Press conference.
“If we want to go to Russia, we have to play with a clear head and technique. I absolutely want us to qualify.”
