“I’m not thinking of another place or team, I want to play a bit more here,” said the 36-year-old after the game.
“Of course, when you’re 36, you have to make decisions every day and I ask many questions of myself, but I believe this is a sign of maturity and intelligence.
“I want to understand how I am physically, and right now I think I’m very fit.
“Things were very bad a month ago. In my career, I’ve always tried to recover before I could to return to the pitch and I did the same to play River.
“Unfortunately, I made a mistake and I hurt myself again, but now I’m fine and this is where I love to play.
“It’s an honour to wear this shirt and I just need to play because I believe I’m now in my best shape.”
