Speaking about his future after Udinese’s 2-1 defeat against Sampdoria, Liverpool and Real Madrid target Rodrigo De Paul said he sets ‘no limits’ for himself.

The Argentinean gave Udinese the lead against Sampdoria in the second half of a Marassi clash on Saturday, but  the Blucerchiati eventually took all three points thanks to goals from Antonio Candreva and Ernesto Torregrossa.

According to reports in Italy, Liverpool have set their sights on De Paul, who, however, is not going to leave the Dacia Arena for less than €40m.

“I set no limits for myself,” De Paul told Sky Sport when asked about a possible move to Real Madrid.

“Once you join a National team like Argentina, you feel you are ready to play with anyone. I hope I am going to have a great career and I am working to achieve it.”

Udinese coach Luca Gotti is on the brink as the Bianconeri are only three points above the relegation zone.

“It’s not his nor the club’s fault. As the team’s captain, I feel I am the first responsible for this. We put ourselves in this situation and now we have to come our from it.

“We have a great team, we can play on a par with anyone, but the pitch must do the talking now. If we play like this against Atalanta, we are going to suffer a lot.”
