Attacking midfielder Rodrigo de Paul has claimed Udinese wanted to give back to ‘the people working behind the scenes’ after the 2-0 win over Roma.
The 26-year-old assisted both Kevin Lasagna and Ilija Nestorovski in the Italian capital and helped the Friuli bounce back from two narrow defeats after the break.
“Against Atalanta, we lost because of [Luis] Muriel,” De Paul told Sky Sport Italia. “I told the lads that winning at the Olimpico is something that's missing.

“We gave an extra effort for ourselves and for those who work hard behind the scenes.”
De Paul has contributed five goals and four assists in Serie A this term, as the Bianconeri sit 14th in the League.
Next up are Genoa at the Dacia Arena on Sunday.
