Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis took to social media to praise the Partenopei after their 1-1 draw against Juventus.
Napoli had several players out of action due to injuries and COVID for their match at the Allianz Stadium.
They had to cope without Victor Osimhen, Mario Rui, Fabian Ruiz, Hirving Lozano and Kevin Malcuit plus Kalidou Koulibaly and Zambo Anguissa who are on Africa Cup of Nations duty.
Luciano Spalletti also remained home as he had a positive swab test yesterday.
“Thanks to the team, the staff and Spalletti who, even from far away, sent important messages to his lads,” De Laurentiis wrote on Twitter.
“Despite the many absentees, Napoli proved to be a team to beat.”
