Charles De Ketelaere was training with Milan today amid reports Atalanta are refusing to meet his personal demands and the requests from his agents.

The two clubs have already agreed the details of the transfer, which would be a loan for €3m with option to buy for a further €22m plus €4m in bonuses.

However, De Ketelaere still needs to work out personal terms with Atalanta and that seems to be a surprisingly large obstacle.

It was already warned yesterday that La Dea were not happy with the demands and further reports this evening point to them putting the negotiations on ice until the Belgian takes a more realistic approach.

Sky Sport Italia and Tuttomercatoweb maintain the primary problems are around the commission that his agents are demanding to get the deal over the line.

His salary is also going to be a concern, but the commission is the most expensive and in Atalanta’s view unnecessary cost of the operation.

Milan spent €35m to purchase De Ketelaere from Club Brugge a year ago, adding a 12 per cent cut of the sell-on fee, but he failed to score a single goal in 40 competitive matches.
