Inter hired Frank de Boer just two weeks before the season began, as Roberto Mancini terminated his contract by mutual consent.
The former Ajax boss lasted only 84 days, losing half his 14 competitive matches on the bench, and was replaced by Stefano Pioli.
“Frank was given very little time to work, but these are things that happen in football,” Ronald told Mundo Deportivo.

“There is no patience to let Coaches work in Italy. Luis Enrique experienced the same thing, as I heard only good things when he was in charge of Roma, but they too had no patience.”
Luis Enrique was on the Roma bench for one season in 2011-12 and went on to great success at Barcelona.
