Inter boss Frank de Boer gives himself “6.5 out of 10, with the possibility to go up to 7” for the season so far.

The Coach has been under fire for poor results and performances, including a run of three consecutive Serie A defeats.

That was ended by a 2-1 over Torino on Wednesday evening and tomorrow night he travels to Sampdoria.

In today’s Press conference, De Boer was asked what rating he’d give himself out of 10 for the work done so far.

“I’d say 7, because at this moment I can look all the players in the eye and say we’ve done great work.

“We started from scratch and made progress in our organisation, both on and off the field. This is a journey that uses up a lot of energy and we’ve had highs and lows, but considering where we started from, we’ve done well.

“So I’ll give myself 6.5 out of 10, with the possibility the teacher will go up to 7.”
