Roberto D’Aversa has rued Parma’s injury crisis against Frosinone but insisted that ‘we mustn’t whine about it. It’s at the tough times when men emerge.’

Gervinho, Roberto Inglese and Jonathan Biabiany are all unavailable for Wednesday’s trip to Frosinone in Serie A, while Parma are sweating over the fitness of experienced defender Bruno Alves.

“Gervinho won’t be there, we’ll look at Bruno Alves today but it’s unlikely that he’ll be available,” D’Aversa said at a Press conference.

“Stulac should’ve returned on Saturday, but he’s there if we need him. It's a war story, but we mustn’t whine about it.

“We’ll need even more strength as a group. It’s at the tough times when men emerge.

“I know Baroni well and how he works. They’re unlikely to be influenced by mathematics in the table, so we’ll have to be good at giving away as little as possible.

“It’ll undoubtedly be a complicated match. We’ll need the desire to bring home the result, like we did at Genoa. They’ll want to win in front of their fans.

“I’ll decide which formation I play, based on who I have available, but regardless of the formation we’ll have to be careful not to make mistakes.”
