“It’s very pleasing to be back at San Siro, as I spent six years at Milan,” said D’Aversa in his Press conference.

“I still remember Gattuso taking me out to the places where you could eat the best seafood. I expect Milan to play 4-3-3, just as they did against Lazio, especially as there are so many players out injured.

“Patrick Cutrone is the one to watch, as even if he is very young, he’s a real fox in the box. It’s like he is a magnet drawing any loose ball towards him. Plus there are quality teammates like Suso and Hakan Calhanoglu.”

Parma are on fine form at the moment, unbeaten in three, including two wins in a row, while they already beat Inter at San Siro earlier this season.

Luca Siligardi is out of action, while Massimo Gobbi is back in the squad, although he might not be fit to start.

“I have to choose between Jonathan Biabiany and Amato Ciciretti in attack, which is really difficult, as they are both in good shape. They have different characteristics and ultimately I’ll have to decide based on those.

“The important thing is for Parma to remember where we came from and that we still have everything to prove.”

Parma squad for Milan: Bagheria, Frattali, Sepe; Bastoni, Bruno Alves, Gagliolo, Gazzola, Gobbi, Iacoponi; Barillà, Deiola, Grassi, Rigoni, Scozzarella, Stulac; Biabiany, Ceravolo, Ciciretti, Di Gaudio, Gervinho, Inglese, Sprocati
