“The performance was good, we played on a par with Lazio for 60 minutes,” the coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“The regret is for having conceded a goal for lack of malice, we should have done better, young people do make mistakes and you pay a hight price for that.

“We created important goal scoring opportunities, but I can’t blame the guys in terms of commitment.”

D’Aversa believes the Ducali need new signings in January.

“The president and the sporting director know what we need. I can only think about the pitch, as far as I am concerned there are no problems.

"Young players must improve, but we need experienced players close to them.

“Serie A is difficult, it takes time to settle in. We are not going to reach our target only because I arrived here, we all must do something more.”
