The Ducali are flying high after going from bankruptcy to the top flight in three years, sitting only two points behind today’s opponents in the table.

Gervinho is still out of action with Alberto Grassi, Gianni Munari, Federico Dimarco and Jacopo Dezi, but Roberto Inglese returns.

“Gervinho has been training with the team for two days, but after talking to him, we decided together it was best to continue a separate schedule and get him in top shape to face Atalanta,” explained the Coach in his Press conference.

“Lazio are a strong side and maintained basically the same team as last season, when they were 10 minutes away from Champions League qualification. They held on to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ciro Immobile and have won four of their last five games.

“Our objective, in any case, remains securing Serie A safety, so that means we have to aim for points in every match regardless of the opponent.

“If we are in this good position, it is because we’ve been taking it one game at a time and we must continue with that approach. We mustn’t think we’ve suddenly become too good for the relegation scrap and stop fighting for every point.”

Parma squad for Lazio: Bagheria, Frattali, Sepe; Alves, Bastoni, Gagliolo, Gazzola, Gobbi, Iacoponi; Barillà, Deiola, Rigoni, Scozzarella, Stulac; Biabiany, Ceravolo, Ciciretti, Di Gaudio, Inglese, Siligardi, Sprocati
