The full back joined the Red Devils from Torino in summer 2015 and made 28 league appearances last term, but has only featured once in the league so far during the current campaign.

Despite voicing his content for the situation in England, the player has been subject to a large amount of speculation regarding his future, with a number of Italian clubs said to be keeping an eye on the situation.

Inter have been heavily linked with the Italy international, with Tuttosport claiming that a Nerazzurri representative was in Manchester for talks last month.
