Fiorentina target Patrick Cutrone has returned to training with Premier League side Wolves, after a deal failed to materialise between the clubs.
Cutrone has been linked with a return to Serie A following a difficult first half season in English football.
It was believed that the Viola had been close to striking a deal with Wolves for the striker.
However, Sky Sports UK and The Athletic’s Tim Spiers state that after spending a couple of days in Italy to try and engineer a move, Cutrone has returned to training with Wolves.
A deal has yet to be struck, but there is hope that a move could be agreed upon before the end of the transfer window.
Cutrone only signed for the Premier League side from Milan last summer for €20m.
