Milan striker Patrick Cutrone says Coach Vincenzo Montella “has taught me a lot”, describing his current form as “a dream”.

The 19-year-old has four goals in six appearances so far this season, and spoke about his current situation while on international duty with the Italy Under-21s.

“My character is always to be engaged, in every training session and every match,” Cutrone said in his Press conference.

“Montella has taught me a lot, he gives me a lot of tips about how to move as a striker and how to position myself in the box.

“This is a dream, I’ve always wanted this and I hope to continue in this way. The boss has put his faith in me, as have my teammates and I hope to repay that.

“The transfer market? I just thought about playing a game at the time, I knew the club would decide. I just thought about training well and giving everything on the pitch.

“If there was no chance of staying I’d have gladly gone out on loan, but my priority is Milan now.

“I think lifting trophies is the dream for every player and I’m no different. Right now though I have my feet on the ground and I’m thinking a game at a time.

“Milan are a good team now, we have a lot of new players and over time we’ll prove our worth.

“What would make me happy at the end of the season? Winning the Scudetto!”
