The deal would be worth around €10m, but it’s not clear if it would be an outright transfer or a loan with obligation to buy. Eagles manager Roy Hodgson had two spells on the Inter bench, and remains a popular figure at San Siro.
If the Italian international does move to Selhurst Park, Sky reports that the Beneamata will step up their interest in Sturridge.
The English striker is out of favour at Liverpool, and could arrive on loan with an option or obligation to buy.
