Dutch legend Johan Cruyff has tacitly praised Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic after his performance in the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday.

The Sweden international was in Malmo last night picking up a Player of the Year award, the fifth of his career.

"Zlatan's style is more adapted to Italian than Spanish football," Cruyff said.

"He played very well in the derby and showed to whom he belongs."

Ibrahimovic was criticised by Cruyff last season, who briefly returned to Barcelona as an honorary President.
