Former Roma captain Francesco Totti will face off against his ex-wife Ilary Blasi in court later this month.

The 2006 World Cup winner famously married the Italian TV presenter in a huge ceremony in Rome in 2005 and the pair had three children together – Cristian born in 2005, Chanel in 2007 and Isabel in 2016. Earlier this year, Blasi announced that their 17-year marriage had come to an end, allowing speculation to run rife in the press as various explanations were given.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Totti and Blasi will go to civil court on November 11 to iron out the legal dispute linked to the demands for the return of various valuables, such as shoes, jewellery and luxury handbags for her and a watch collection for him.

The pair are also at odds regarding possible spousal and child support; in September, it was reported that Blasi had asked Totti for around €37,500 per month in total for both herself and their children. The former Roma captain’s counter offer was €7000 per month for the children, and the matter will likely end up in court again.
