Diego Costa could join Milan on loan for six months before moving to Atletico Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

The striker has been frozen out by Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, and wants to return to former club Atleti.

However, they have a transfer ban until January, so he can’t move there this summer.

Rather than spend six months on the bench, Mundo Deportivo reports that Costa could go on loan to the Rossoneri for the first half of the season.
