The Costa Rica squad have arrived in Brazil ahead of their upcoming World Cup campaign.

Coach Jorge Luis Pinto and his 23-man party touched down in Sao Paolo in the early hours of the morning and headed to Santos, where they will base themselves for the tournament.

The Central Americas are of course in Group D of the competition alongside England, Uruguay and Cesare Prandelli’s Italy.

They are rank outsiders but will hope to get their campaign off to a winning start when they face Uruguay on Saturday.
