The Argentinian bagged a brace as the Grifone ran out easy winners, and despite uncertainty over a UEFA licence, is targeting Europe.

“I’m happy for the team, because we played really well,” Costa told Sky after the match.

“I scored two goals today, but what’s more important for me is to return to the field without pain after the injuries.

“This three points means we can continue to believe in the Europa League. We prepared well for this match, we knew it would be important to win it.

“We hadn’t managed five goals at home [until now] but they came today.”
