Juventus winger Douglas Costa admits he is ‘hoping’ the season can resume in May as “I don’t know what to do anymore” at home.

Football has not been played in Italy since March 9 due to coronavirus, but the curve has been flattening for some time and authorities are prepared to let teams resume training once the first phase of lockdown measures end on May 3.

That has come as music to the ears of Costa, who is finding isolation tough back in his native Brazil.

“I hope the season can resume soon, maybe in a month’s time,” he said during an Instagram Live session.

“I’m training every day, I’m at home with my family and I spend time with my loved ones.

“But within the confines of my home, I don’t know what to do anymore…”
