Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi says he ‘would let Lorenzo Tonelli leave with the right offer’ and reveals English interest in Riccardo Saponara.

The two players have been at the centre of much transfer speculation, with Roma today being linked with a move for Tonelli.

The Azzurri’s owner today fuelled the exit rumours in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Every team likes Saponara, he’s destined to be a first choice for many of them,” Corsi said.

“But not only in Serie A, because I can tell you that they like him a lot in the Premier League.

“Tonelli? If the right offer arrived I would let him leave. I don’t go back on my word.”
