The former Roma Coach was sacked yesterday, on his 65th birthday, following the 5-0 defeat to Napoli at the weekend.
Giuseppe Iachini was confirmed as his replacement this morning, and patron explained the decision at his presentation Press conference.
“I’m sorry for the sacking of of Aurelio Andreazzoli but you need to be attentive,” Corsi explained.
“Look at the games: you need something different with this quality of opponent.
“We chose Iachini because we think he can give the team what it’s missing, namely balance and compactness.
“Attacking with six or seven players isn’t the way to score, Andreazzoli gave us great satisfaction in Serie B, but I’ve always heard it’s better to attack with three or four players rathe than seven or eight.
“We got compliments, but those don’t bring you points.”
