Joaquin Correa is set to join Marseille on an initial loan deal with an option to buy with Alexis Sanchez returning to Inter, reports Sky Sport Italia.
The Nerazzurri are set to welcome El Nino Maravilla back to the club one year after his move to Marseille.
The Chile international is available as a free agent after the end of his contract with the Ligue 1 side and according to Sky Sport Italia, he will undergo his medical with the Nerazzurri once Marseille complete Correa’s purchase.
The Argentinean forward is expected to move to France on a €2m season-long loan plus an option to buy for circa €13m.
According to the report, Marseille will have an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met. In this case, the total fee for the deal would decrease to circa €13m.
Inter and Marseille are expected to shake hands on Friday, with the Argentinean flying to Marseille to undergo his medical.
Correa has failed to justify his €30m price tag at San Siro, scoring just 10 goals in 77 appearances with the Serie A giants.
