The pressure is on Milan now to either increase the bid or look elsewhere, especially as they are close to Rafael Leao of Lille and Flamengo defender Leo Duarte for a total €41m.
If they are not prepared to step up the offer for Correa immediately, then Atletico Madrid and the player will begin to consider the interest from other clubs, which so far means Tottenham Hotspur and Valencia.
