The former Milan forward spent the second half of last season on loan at Chelsea, but made just two appearances and the English club decided not to make the move permanent.

Reports in Italy have linked the Biancocelesti with a move for ‘The Duck’, and his current club are open to offers.

“Pato will have a talk with the Coach in the coming days,” Roberto de Andrade told Goal.

“Pato will have a talk with the Coach in the coming days,” Roberto de Andrade told Goal.

“The chances of leaving will depend on negotiations and the various offers that arrive. He’ll be here on Tuesday, he’ll train with the squad.

“It’s easy to say today that it was a bad deal [with Chelsea]. We didn’t get either a technical or financial advantage. It wasn’t a good deal, from every point of view.

“We’re aware of our mistakes. If he stays with us then of course he’ll play. We’re paying his salary, why would be we use him?”
