After the break Andrea Masiello's free kick curled over the wall and into the top corner, then Emmanuel Rivas waltzed through a static Livorno defence.

Marco D'Alessandro completed the rout by redirecting Francesco Caputo's wayward effort.

In stoppages Livorno did get one back with Dionisi's tap-in, but it is Bari who go through to face Milan in the next round.
