The newly-appointed Commissario Tecnico took in Napoli’s draw with Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday evening following his presentation to the Press, and yesterday visited Lazio and Roma’s training bases.

On from this, the 45-year-old this morning is at Fiorentina’s sporting centre to meet with Montella for discussions on a particular player.

“I came to talk to Montella, because we are very interested in Rossi and want to find together with him a correct schedule for the use of the player,” Conte has told reporters.

“I trust Montella, I look for him to explain what the conditions are regarding Rossi. I repeat, we are very interested in this player.”

At his unveiling as Italy boss on Tuesday morning, Conte described Rossi as an ‘asset’ to the Italian national team.

Conte will this afternoon visit Coverciano for the first time since signing his two-year contract with the Azzurri, where he is expected to meet with Coaches from the national team’s youth sides.
