After that, Sky is reporting that Fiorentina Coach Vincenzo Montella and Italy CT Antonio Conte would be top of President Silvio Berlusconi’s shortlist for a long-term role on the Rossoneri bench.
The news outlet believes that Conte would not leave his position with the Azzurri, but rather would Coach Milan on a day-to-day basis while still retaining his position as Italy Coach.
Montella has drawn widespread praise for his work with the Viola, achieving a win rate of over 53 per cent and reaching the final of the Coppa Italia in his two-and-a-half seasons.
