Antonio Conte says his Italy side are “on the right path” and is “still shocked” by the terrorist attacks in Paris.

The Azzurri face Romania in a friendly in Bologna tomorrow, and the CT addressed the media in his pre-match Press conference this evening.

“Tomorrow I hope to see a continuation of what we saw in Belgium,” Conte told reporters.

“That means a team that knows what to do both in and out of possession. On Friday little moments went against us, we had a few lapses and paid dearly.

“That means a team that knows what to do both in and out of possession. On Friday little moments went against us, we had a few lapses and paid dearly.

“The path we’re on is the right one. Tomorrow we’re ready to play a good match and continue what we saw in Belgium.”

The international break has been overshadowed by the shocking events in Paris, in which terrorists killed over 100 people in a terrorist attack.

“Everyone is dismayed, we’re still shocked by what happened. Acts of terrorism can make you reflect, and cause apprehension, and fear.

“They are, however, inexplicable acts which we have to fight against, moving forward, doing what we have to do, otherwise we won’t be able to overcome evil.

“The state of alert will rise and be very high, because if they want to strike they become dangerous. Above all, time must not lower our attention, the state of alert should remain high.

“Usually after a bit, attention drops, controls drop, and that must not happen. I hope time won’t make us forget.”
