Antonio Conte denies he visited Chelsea yesterday – “I was at the Federation to work”.
It was claimed yesterday that the Italy CT had taken an unscheduled trip to London, to meet the players he’ll be working with next season.
That reportedly caused tension with FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio, who “didn’t know” the visit was taking place.

However, it appears there may have been a good reason for Tavecchio being unaware, as Conte insists he was in Italy yesterday.
“Was I in England yesterday? I was at the Federation to work.” Conte told ItalPress.
The former Juventus Coach will take over at Stamford Bridge after this summer’s European Championships.
