Antonio Conte will make his debut on the Tottenham Hotspur bench this evening in the Europa Conference League after his work permit was approved and names his staff.

The coach was appointed this week to replace the fired Nuno Espirito Santo.

Following the change of rules under Brexit, Conte had to wait for his visa to be approved and new forms to get a work permit.

That was rushed through and he has been given the all-clear to sit on the bench for this evening’s Europa Conference League match against Vitesse Arnhem.

Conte had been overseeing the Spurs training sessions over the last couple of days, but did not officially take charge of them due to the work permit issue.

He has also named his coaching staff, with Cristian Stellini again as assistant manager, Gianluca Conte, Costantino Coratti, Gian Pietro Ventrone and Stefano Bruno in the backroom staff.

Former Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason also joins the staff.

He is no stranger to the Premier League and working in England, having won the title at Chelsea during his first campaign.

The tactician won the Serie A title last season at Inter, before leaving the club by mutual consent in May.
