The tactician was completing his two-match Serie A ban for insulting referee Michael Fabbri during the 0-0 draw with Udinese.

He was in the stands of the Stadio Franchi for last night’s 2-0 Inter victory, but he’d be hard pressed to deny he was getting messages to the bench.

Conte was caught on camera during the closing minutes with his brother Gianluca, who had headphones plugged into the phone.

It seems he felt the message wasn’t getting across sufficiently, so grabbed the microphone part of the headphones and screamed into them.

It’s reported the concept Conte wanted to get across was: ‘Tell Hakimi to sit deeper.’
