Italo-American tycoon Rocco Commisso is close to finalising his €200m takeover of Fiorentina.
ANSA reports Commisso met Fiorentina owners Diego and Andrea Della Valle in Milan on Tuesday.
The 69-year-old was joined by his aide Joe Barone, while Viola President Mario Cognigni was also present.
Commisso owns the US’ fifth biggest cable TV company, as well as the New York Cosmos football team.
The Italian-born billionaire moved to the US as a child and is on the Forbes 500 list of richest people in the country.
