Iachini was only ever considered a stop-gap coach, but Commisso is still delighted with how he has galvanised the Viola.

Iachini was only ever considered a stop-gap coach, but Commisso is still delighted with how he has galvanised the Viola.
“[We had a] great game against a strong team,” he told the club’s Twitter account.
“We were very good and careful in defence with a super Terracciano and we also had our chances up front.
“Getting points in Milan is never easy, but with this commitment we managed to have a really good performance and even today we managed not to concede.
“With Iachini, we became the best defence [in] the league.”
